The Brief
Founded by Mrs. Jay of Swank PR and her daughter Brianna, 1865 Fest brings together artists, entrepreneurs, local organizations, and families for a weekend of live performances, cultural programming, and wellness activations — featuring artists including Star Bandz, Lil MU, D Low, Kemo the Bop King, Del Marie, Huey Gang, and Elektric Company.
The Approach
As content coordinator, director, and editor, AAEC led the festival's visual storytelling — coordinating camera teams, capturing photo and video, conducting artist interviews, and producing recap content. The team also wrote, edited, and produced a 10-minute documentary honoring Isaac “Lord Haiti,” which premiered during the festival as a tribute to his life and legacy.
